FUSION Sub-Committees

Community
The community subcommittee plays a pivotal role in FUSION’s volunteer outreach and educational opportunities. The subcommittee is responsible for fostering connections with community organizations and local non-profits. Committee members actively contribute to fostering a vibrant and impactful
community presence.
Events
The events subcommittee is responsible for the planning and execution of all FUSION events (besides those done by Community), chiefly the annual FUSION:Summit, FUSION:First, FUSION 101, and other networking events and socials. The committee oversees all logistics, communicating with vendors, and the budgets for each event. It also works with the marketing subcommittee to ensure proper advertising for all events.
Marketing
The marketing subcommittee oversees the marketing and communications strategy for FUSION. This includes FUSION’s regular e-newsletters, BRCC print advertisements, website, social media pages, and media relations. The committee works with all the other subcommittees to provide marketing for FUSION events, programs and initiatives.
Sports
The sports subcommittee oversees FUSION’s dodgeball league and other sporting events. This includes organizing the venues for each league, assisting with registration of teams and players, reviewing/creating league rules and regulations, assisting the events committee with any associated sports socials, and working with the marketing committee to advertise the leagues.
